In no particular order, since the last post, two years ago...
- New Job! I'm a Training Specialist LED (Louisiana Economic Development) FastStart - we are an economic incentive provider to businesses in Louisiana.
- Roscoe, Lee, and Abadie mutated into Reaux, Roscoe, and Abadie. Charles Lee retired from our 19th Century Musical Troupe, and Cooky Reaux (an original founding member) returned to fill the gap. Bob Roscoe and I are still in the band. This all took place in the last half of 2019, so we only had a few opportunities to perform before the COVID 19 Pandemic changed...well...just about every aspect of life. We had 4 gigs cancel because of the Stay at Home order. This is a financial burden, and I'm hoping the venues we play will soon be able to re-open and host events in which we can participate.
- Nicole and I play a lot of pool now. We joined APA (American Poolplayers Association), and we are co-captains of a double-jeopardy team (both 8 ball and 9 ball) called Cueball Screwballs. We play on Sunday afternoon. We both play on some other teams, as well. Our team's home is Clicks Billiards in Baton Rouge.
- Nicole is working as a bartender/server at Clicks Billiards. She got the job about two weeks before the Stay at Home order, so she was out of work from mid-March until about two weeks ago.
- Despite The Rona, life is good. I've been able to attend a few small jams here and there, and the music is like salve on a wound.
