Christmas Came Early

Christmas came one week
Early
This year
It does, in fact
Every other year
Since the divorce
But we were ready
And it was fun
The parents/steps equal 4 now
So the kids have plenty of
Holiday support
Gifts were exchanged
As usual
And laughter prevailed
The only hard part
As usual
Was driving them home
Knowing
It'll be two weeks before our next
Weekend
Together
